What buyers need to see before they trust an AI lead assistant

Show the answer source, AI disclosure, captured fields, and human hand-off before asking a prospect to start.

An AI assistant becomes credible when a buyer can see three things: that the customer knows the reply is from AI, that the answer comes from content the business approved, and that the assistant can stop when a person is needed.

The product page should show the context captured from that exchange — source, intent, budget, timing, or product interest — rather than asking the buyer to infer capability from a feature list.

Finally, show the hand-off. A named team, a full transcript, and structured lead fields explain the value more clearly than a broad promise about better customer engagement.

“A good customer response is a system of attention — not simply a notification.”
